December and lack of daylight

In Denmark we only have daylight for about 7 hours a day, in December. If you, like me, love to work creatively with sunlight and shadows, when doing street photography, December can be long. Especially if you have a daytime job.

But I always try to finde a couple of minutes in the afternoon, when the sunlight is warm and beautiful. But it can be hard, since most days are grey and overcast.

But then again. Maybe I just should work on how to be a better photographer when the sun and daylight is away… 🙂

btw – beautiful moments and geometry created by the shadows here

  2. Beautiful deep shadows and soft light. I have the apposite challenge living in Fremantle, Australia. Long days, harsh light. I have to get up very early to get those long shadows and soft light. Great work.
